Hi Brad,
I really didn't want to write to you and request this song because it hurts so much to not have my husband anymore and to hear this song just reminds me so much of what i feel right now. My husband, 31 years old died a year ago on Dec. 22, 2006. We had been married for 8 years, almost 9 and have 2 children. We were separated because we had problems dealing with his drug addiction. He really was a good person but the drugs changed him in so many ways that I couldn't deal with it all. The night he died, he had been staying with me and the kids because he had wanted to spend the holidays with me and the kids. The night of Dec. 21 we went christmas shopping because we had not done any shopping yet. Well he overdosed that night. When I woke up the next morning he had passed away in the middle of the night. It was such a traumatic event for all of us. We miss him a lot but we know that he is in a better place now. I want to dedicate "Hurt" by Christina Aguilera
because that is how I feel right now, I did blame him for a lot of stuff but if I knew what I know i would've told him that I forgave him and that he really was loved. Thanks Brad B!!! I would really appreciate it if you could play that this Sunday. Thanks.
